So William's alarm went off at 5 AM... he had duty. I may be the only woman on the face of the planet that LOVES duty days. It gives me time to catch up on the chores I can't do while he is here, or clean up HIS mess, or just live like I can't while he is in the house. Oh and it gives me a break from just being around him. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I love my husband dearly, but in some aspects he is still that annoying 11 year old I hated in 5th grade. (we have had that conversation several times) So with the sun shining through my bedroom window I woke up and said to myself 'you know what, we are going to clean the house today!' I didn't do a damn thing. I think I mostly sat on Facebook. If I knew more about computers I would invent an app for Facebook that was a timer that told you just how long you have been on it and when you have surpassed your time limit, it kicks you off. William's game of Magic the Gathering may be Satanic in many ways but so is Facebook. Ok, so I did accomplish a few things, other than a few nonsensical house chores, I picked out Noah's birthday cake. I was thinking of doing a sports themed cake since we are decorating his room in sports, but once I showed him the Elmo cakes, he went nuts! So, next week, after taxes come in of course, I'm going out to buy all the baking stuff I need. Sheesh, I'm turning into one of those moms, one of those baking, crafty, do-it-all moms. I'm 23 and feel 25, I look 18, and according to William, one guy on his crew mistook me for his DAUGHTER. What am I getting at? Well, when I was 18 I never thought I would have a kid until I was 25, and now that I am 23, I never thought I would feel this old! Ugh where did my life go?(sorry small tangent)
So I'm sitting here watching Twilight, yes I am a closet Twilight lover. William showed me an article yesterday where they had put up the Cullin's house for sale. It's a beautiful house, and if we had 3 million to buy it I totally would. I am totally Team Edward. And to sleep in the very room he did... ohhhhh baby... And they show beautiful scenes of the WA 'country' side. It's a shame I don't like it here. On days that the sun shines, the mountains and the lakes and the trees are really just breathtaking, but the people here are just incredibly rude. The nicest people we have found are in Wal Mart. I miss Texas so much. I miss the weather, the nice people, the LOW prices, the mexican food, the cajun food... I could go on for days. But William and I have a home here, and I have started a new life here. And I wouldn't trade that.
